Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Participates in the assessment of learning/resources needs and the subsequent establishment of directional goals for the institution and its various departments which are compatible with its service, teaching, and research objectives.
• Responds to the educational and health care needs of the staff, residents and community which its serves.
• Develops an overall teaching program which is consistent with the stated mission. Serves as Chairperson of Committee for Orientation Revision.
• Provides direction and leadership in the development of objectives for implementation of the philosophy and objectives of the departmental teaching program.

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $56.34 to $70.24 per hour

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Bachelor of Science Degree required.
• Five years experience in the delivery of nursing care and two years experience in nursing service administration or at least two years experience as a Staff Developer or Educator.

Education: 

• NYS RN License
