We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and strategic Materials Planner / Production Scheduler to join our company, and to provide support for our Purchasing and Inventory Management activities. Must have experience in working with and purchasing raw materials and planning in a manufacturing environment. This role will plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of materials through the production cycle. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process purchase orders for raw materials and finished inventoried SKUs
• Receive and enter purchase orders for all/any purchased inventory
• Manage and coordinate inventory movement to all outside vendors
• Manage and maintain adequate inventory levels for all packaging items
• Plan and manage material replenishment to ensure on-time delivery for customer orders
• Maintain adequate levels of stocked inventoried SKUs to meet customer demand
• Manage safety stock parameters in the ERP system for all inventoried SKUs
• Manage Vendor contracts in the ERP system
• Manual planning outside of the ERP system
• Plan, generate and perform Cycle Counts
• Review and confirm Cycle Counts
• Fully support the day-to-day activities in the CDC Warehouse
• Provide delivery dates and lead times to the Customer Service Department for Customer orders
• Business Unit liaison responsible for working with other ARCH Business Units
• Work with the Plant Manager to plan and coordinate production schedules
• Develop effective scheduling process to achieve production objectives
• Take ownership of all material planning related processes and procedure documentation
• Other duties as assigned

Core Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Planner capacity
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong Analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to form relationships
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
