Description:

Operating CNC Grinding Machines, grinding high grade precision tooling to tight tolerances. Some manual grinding machines. Openings for entry level candidates available.

Four, 10-hour days with available shifts:

Training will be on First Shift Sun- Weds 6:00 AM- 4:30 PM

Permanent shift will be 2nd, Sunday – Wednesday (4:30pm-3:00am) $2.50 Shift Differential

Earn $21.00 - $24.00 /hr starting, Depending on experience. Plus $2.50 Shift Differential for 2nd shift. 1 year experience in Manufacturing environment or trade school preferred, machining experience preferred but not necessary. Solid work history and ethic are a must. Training is Provided! Regular Performance based pay increases available. Cross training and continual learning also available. Must live in the Buffalo area or be within a reasonable commuting distance or willing to relocate.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Operate Grinding Machines in a clean environment.
• Hold very precise tolerances.
• Use critical thinking and problem solving skills to improve quality and reduce scrap.
• Inspect inserts for both dimensional and visual defects.
• Set up machines for production runs.
• Learn and Use conversational CNC programing.

Qualifications:

• Good analytical ability.
• Problem solving skills.
• Great team working skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience or trade school

Preferred:

• Experience in Machining
• Completed/pursuing a degree or certificate course in related field is a plus.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment.
• Experience with reading and following instructions from CADD drawings and/or Job Travelers.
