Responsibilities

Arcfield is seeking an experienced Government Compliance professional. The company is looking for a strong proactive contributor with direct experience in applying government compliance regulations to practical business situations in a challenging environment. This position will be responsible for a wide variety of detailed financial analysis, regulatory analysis and interpretation, audit support and other special projects. This position includes significant interaction with internal functional and operational teams and government representatives. This individual would report directly to the Senior Director, Government Compliance at Arcfield.

Major Responsibilities/Activities Statements:

  • Part of the Govt Compliance team, supporting leaders and functions across the organization
  • Helps achieve and maintain Company compliance with U.S. Govt regulations (FAR, DFARS, and CAS)
  • Working knowledge of the annual incurred cost submission (ICS)
  • Assists in preparation of Forward Pricing, Final Claimed rates, and CAS disclosure statements
  • Interacts with Defense Contract Audit Agency (“DCAA”) and Defense Contract Management Agency (“DCMA”) regarding audit and other engagements
  • Contributes to Company policies and business practices for compliance with regulations
  • Assists with ad hoc requests and special projects regarding Compliance matters
  • Assists and supports other government and internal audits
  • Assists with Compliance related training as needed

Qualifications

Required Skills/Education and Experience:

  • BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
  • 8-10 years developing/auditing annual incurred cost submissions, forward pricing packages, and CAS disclosure statements and supporting DCMA and DCAA audits
  • Deltek Costpoint software 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of eight years’ experience working in a government contracting compliance environment
  • Proficiency with cost accounting principles and requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficient in querying and troubleshooting within a Deltek environment
  • Outstanding work ethic and commitment to organizational success
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to research, gather and analyze information then formulate effective recommendations
  • Working knowledge of databases, MS SQL and application installations 

Desired:

  • Have a demonstrated working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation, and Cost Accounting Standards
  • Working knowledge of forward pricing package and CAS disclosure statements
  • Comfortable interacting with DCMA and DCAA auditors and personnel
  • Developed flexibility in communicating with various functional areas
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment
  • Have demonstrated a strong potential for applying technical knowledge to resolving complex situations in a business environment
  • Have exhibited the capability to support FAR and CAS audits

Equal Pay Act

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, Arcfield invests in its employees beyond just compensation. Min: $88,387.04 Max: $212,392.73
