Responsibilities

Responsibilities: 

Join a high performing team providing GEOINT product format quality verification and validation for mission critical Intelligence products and metadata files. Serve our decision makers and warfighters by providing product format quality assessments, data verification and validation, and test automation to ensure end to end Software systems produce the GEOINT products needed by the Warfighter and decision makers. Be part of a Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) team that is on the cutting edge of applying Agile, DevSecOps, test automation, Digital Engineering, Cloud, and Artificial Intelligence methods and technologies to solve our customer’s toughest challenges. 

You will focus on providing Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of product header metadata during early Software factory deliveries, informal and formal testing, and initialization of new operational systems. Work with a team of experts with decades of experience ensuring the highest quality standards are met. 

Your responsibilities are to:

  • Participate in product definition working groups to ensure product format updates are understood, communicated across development and SETA teams, and consistent across specifications. 
  • Lead early assessments of simulated or test data to ensure products and metadata formats are compliant with the approved specifications. 
  • Automate metadata parsing and format compliance analytics to improve scalability and efficiency of IV&V. 
  • Support factory testing, enterprise cross-organization informal and formal testing, and test automation prior to deliveries into Operations. 
  • Support IV&V of product format quality after Transition to Operations (TTO) during Operational Research Demonstration (ORD) phase. 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2 
  • Must Possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
  • Experience with Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) and/or Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT). 
  • Experience with requirements, architecture and interface analysis, Agile integration, and informal/formal testing. 
  • Experience with GEOINT Product Quality. 
  • Experience with Software Acquisition processes, artifacts, and events. 
  • Strong representational, oral, and written communications skills; including the ability to produce clear, logical, and concise products. 
  • Proven organization and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interface effectively via written and oral forums with personnel at all levels of government. 

Desired: 

  • Knowledge of SAFe or Agile frameworks. 
  • Knowledge of EO or RADAR systems, CONOPS, or data types 
  • Knowledge of EO or RADAR processing steps from raw data to finished products. 
  • Experience with XML or JSON metadata formats. 
  • Experience or knowledge of cloud services. 
  • Experience with commercial Atlassian tools (e.g. Confluence, JIRA). 
  • Experience with Linux command line. 
  • Knowledge of Requests for Changes (RFCs) and Configuration Management (CM) processes.
