Arcetyp LLC is a growing small business that provides a broad range of consulting services to US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients. Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services. We are recruiting to fill a position to lead business development activities for a small government contracting firm focused on IT Services and Cyber Security for clients in Civil and DoD markets.

Arcetyp LLC is looking for a Fully Qualified Navy Validator (FQNV) Level III. The candidate needs to be Secret Clearance Eligible. The candidate needs to be able to work on a W2/1099 basis, part-time (500 hours annually), which will be located on-site in Moorestown, New Jersey.

OVERVIEW:

Arcetyp LLC is seeking a Fully Qualified Navy Validator Level III (FQNV) to join our client's team. Our client is a proven, employee-focused provider of mission-critical information systems and technical support services to government and private sector organizations worldwide. Their professional team combines the technical depth, breadth, and experience of a large firm with the agility, efficiency, and personal service that only a smaller firm can offer. They also support a wide range of professional information technology (IT), intelligence services, including acquisition, procurement, financial, international, and foreign military sales support services for the Department of Defense.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This critical role supports the Department of the Navy's mission by ensuring the security and compliance of various IT systems through rigorous assessment and authorization processes under the Risk Management Framework (RMF). The position requires deep knowledge and experience in the Authority To Operate (ATO) and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process and operational phases of Navy business IT systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct comprehensive RMF assessments for Navy IT systems.
  • Validate system security requirements and propose risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) and program managers throughout the ATO/A&A process.
  • Develop and maintain critical A&A documentation such as System Security Plans (SSP), Contingency Plans, and Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M).
  • Lead and mentor teams in the validator role, providing expertise in Navy IT security and compliance standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Greater than seven (7) years' experience in cybersecurity, specifically with Navy A&A, and RMF.
  • Required certifications (at least one): CAP, CASP CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or an approved technical related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability in applying Navy ATO/A&A guidance effectively.
  • Proven track record of managing ATO/A&A processes for complex IT systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interfacing with all levels of personnel involved in IT operations and system technical aspects.
  • This position is an IAM Level III in the Cyber Security Workforce.
