Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a part-time architectural building scan technician.

You will perform on-site visits to residential and commercial properties, and conduct scans using our Leica laser scanner (Arcdimension will provide the scanner). The scanner is a handheld mobile mapping device that weighs 2lbs and scans in 3D while the technician walks the space.

As an architectural building scan technician, you'll gain the skills and experience needed to scan buildings of all types including large estates, commercial retail and office buildings.

No prior experience or knowledge of 3D scanning is required. Training will be provided by Arcdimension. CAD work is not required.

Job Responsibilities

• Traveling to properties and accurately representing the company and its values
• Generating and processing 3D laser scan data
• Adhering to company best practices to ensure highest scan data quality

Job Hours

• You must be available to take on-site scans 2-3 days of the week (preferably Tue-Wed-Thur), 9:00am-5:00pm.
• You will be paid for the 2-3 full days of the week whether we have scheduled you for appointments or not.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree (Architecture or related field preferred but not required)
• 1 years work experience (Architecture or related field preferred but not required)
• Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude
• Remarkable problem solving skills with a bias for speed
• Ability to conduct all activities with the highest degree of integrity
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
• Have own reliable vehicle to visit several properties in a day
• Responsibility to work independently and remotely
• Be extremely reliable and very detail oriented

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week

Experience level:

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• No weekends
