Arcadis is seeking a NEPA Analyst to serve as Support Services staff for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Office of Environmental Services (OES). This is a unique opportunity to work directly with GDOT staff for environmental certification of transportation projects throughout the state.

Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a NEPA Analyst to serve as Support Services staff for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Office of Environmental Services (OES). This is a unique opportunity to work directly with GDOT staff for environmental certification of transportation projects throughout the state.
Role accountabilities:

• Implement the processes employed by GDOT for National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Georgia Environmental Policy Act (GEPA) compliance.
• Perform as overall project coordinator for environmental studies of transportation projects.
• Prepare and process correspondence, participate in meetings and public hearings, coordinate with GDOT offices and other governmental agencies, prepare environmental documentation, and handle related tasks as required.

Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in environmental studies, natural sciences, or a related field of study
• 2 or more years of relevant work experience preparing NEPA documentation.

Key Attributes:

• The successful candidate will have previous experience preparing NEPA documentation for federal aid/action projects.
• Experience managing environmental studies for transportation or other linear projects.
• Be highly organized, responsive, work well under tight deadlines, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters' Degree in environmental studies, natural sciences, or a related field of study
• Experience preparing NEPA/GEPA documents for GDOT projects.

The salary range for this position is $61200 - $91800.
