Role description: The Contract Solutions team are looking to appoint an experienced Construction Claims Director with a broad and established Construction Attorney network to join us. This is a Seller- Doer type position and it will focus on the continued growth of the team in California and the rest of the West Coast, so its essential that you are based in this location.

Role accountabilities:

• Expand the Construction Attorney market and develop business on the West Coast for Arcadis. 
• Manage and perform expert claims analysis and resolution assignments.
• Lead the claims team in the analysis or preparation of a complex construction claims for a high profile client base.
• Market and promote Arcadis construction claims services, management of projects, financial planning, and control.
• Establish and maintain professional business relations with clients and continue to develop a strong network for Arcadis.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture or related degree.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls, delay analysis, productivity analysis, and the resolution of claims and disputes.
• At least one relevant professional license or certification (PE, CCM, PMP, PSP, AIA) is preferred.
• Be actively involved in The American Bar Association (ABA), or other construction attorney associations. 
• Have a very good credible network of contacts and connections within the Construction Attorney Market

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $275,000
