Microfilm & Microfiche Conversion Technician

Up to $20.50/hour - Part time Day Shifts

What We Need:

The Arc Mercer Business Enterprise needs a Microfilm and Microfiche Conversion Technician. The Microfilm and Microfiche Conversion Technician is responsible for creating digital images from 35 mm microfilm and jacketed microfiche with capture software using Sunrise Apollo HS Scanners.

• Perform daily maintenance and alignment checks on equipment.
• Loads reels or microfiche into machines, ensuring correct alignment.
• Enter reel or microfiche jacket information and adjust machine settings for quality scanning.
• Monitor scan process to confirm smooth operation and all images are being captured.
• View each image for quality control, alignment and rework sub quality images.
• Log inventory in manifest of records daily.
• Maintain high production levels.
• Other responsibilities and duties may be assigned.

What You Need:

• Experience with records management.
• Experience with microfilm/microfiche conversion.
• Experience with document scanning software
• Working knowledge of software applications such as Excel, Word, and Google Suites.
• High School diploma or GED.
