Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Director to join our Hospice team. The Medical Director will oversee the medical operations, provide leadership, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Duties:
- Develop and implement medical policies and procedures
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance to medical staff
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Participate in clinical trials and research activities
- Manage utilization and medical management processes
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
- Conduct budgeting and resource allocation for medical services
Requirements:
- Medical degree with active state medical license
- Admitting privileges to local hospital
- Proven experience in managed care and medical management
- Strong knowledge of utilization management principles
- Familiarity with primary care systems and clinical trials
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize patient care and safety
