Licensed Practical Nurse (Per Diem)

$26.00 per hour

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing quality professional health services; to include Medication administration, routine medical assessments, daily triage of illnesses and injuries, record documentation and review, health screening and health education for adults with developmental disabilities in our residential programs located throughout Broward County.

What does a Licensed Practical Nurse do?

• Work under the supervision of the Health Services Administrator.
• Assess the health care needs of everyone.
• Work in an interdisciplinary team environment.
• Implement policies and procedures regarding medical, dental, dietary, pharmaceutical services and nursing practices in accordance with agency and regulatory standards and procedures.

What are the requirements?

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Must have a current LPN license to practice Nursing in the state of Florida with minimum of one year experience.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Prior experience working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities preferred
