We seek a Curriculum Developer who can develop i-Ready curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs for student audiences within these fields: Math, Reading, or Physical Education.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and educators to design and develop curriculum content, lesson plans, and educational materials for targeted subjects or academic areas.

  • Present and reinforce learning concepts within a specified subject or subject area.

  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to engage all students based on their diverse needs.

  • Incorporate technology and multimedia elements into the curriculum to enhance learning experiences.

  • Analyze informal and formal student assessment results and use this information to create and improve curriculum.

  • Observe and train and program leaders, helping them effectively implement and deliver the curriculum in diverse classroom environments.

  • Assess students regularly and refine and differentiate classroom instruction based on assessment data and student needs.

  • Lead curriculum planning meetings and contribute creative ideas to enhance the expanded learning program.

Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or a related field. Master's degree and California Credential a plus.

  • Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational content creation classroom experience a plus.

  • Proficiency in using educational technology tools, multimedia software, and content authoring platforms experience with i-Ready a plus.

  • Familiarity with educational standards, learning theories, and pedagogical approaches.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of diverse learning styles, cultural considerations, and accessibility principles in curriculum design.

  • Passion for education, a commitment to enhancing learning outcomes, and a creative mindset to innovate in curriculum development.

Requirements:

  • You must get a TB test (and provide proof that it is negative)

  • Complete Live Scan background check

  • Have a current vaccination for COVID-19.

The Curriculum Developer position is full-time, exempt. This position reports to the Regional Manager of the school site.
