Retail Store Associate

Arborwear is looking for a PART-TIME and FLEXIBLE Retail Store Associate who can perform a variety of work in accordance with procedures such as providing excellent customer service, keeping the store clean and organized, operating the cash register, and confidently selling any item in the retail store. Reporting to our Store Supervisor, you will:

Job-specific skills:

Provide excellent customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Team up with retail team to keep the store clear, organized and well stocked
Gain product knowledge to confidently sell any item in the retail store
Help teach and train all new associates on Arborwear and 3rd party product information
Operate cash register accurately and efficiently
Assist our warehouse team when necessary
Help create fresh store interior and window displays
Follow the marketing calendars schedule for displays and sandwich board signage
Attend store meetings as scheduled

Production Artist

As a Production Artist your primary tasks will include:

Manage accurate garment decoration proof creation from start to finish
Collaborate with Sales Team to create, finalize or edit and submit proofs for approval
Enter approved artwork data and graphics into PLM system
Refine, edit or create necessary artwork for print production utilizing Embroidery, Screen Printer, Direct to Film or cut Vinyl applications
Operate the Direct to Film Printer (training provided, but prior experience a plus)
Track speed of service and accuracy for process evaluation and opportunities to improve
Ability to digitize or manipulate artwork for embroidery a plus (Wilcom)
Occasionally design artwork for special projects, training materials or reference

Desirable Qualities:

Willingness to learn to operate embroider & heat press machines to decorate garments
Become a master at knowing what decoration application works best for each garment
Understand how the artwork should be optimized for each decoration method
Provide help and support to the Production Team as needed

Experience with Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, (Flexi Design/SAi a plus)

QUALIFICATIONS:

College degree in Art, Design, Fashion or equivalent work experience
Previous Production Art experience in proofing t-shirt designs, uniforms, etc.
Windows Operating System / PC proficient

Production Assistant

As a Production Assistant your primary tasks will include:

Match / verify garments to production lot paperwork
Read and understand lot paperwork on how to decorate garments
Identify potential issues with lot paperwork (design, colors, items, etc.)
Properly set up garment, design and machine for decoration production
Acquire artwork, proof or embroidery files from PLM system
Operate heat press and embroidery machines (Tajima)
Finish or assist with finishing embroidered garments
Monitor speed of service & accuracy for process evaluation, opportunities to improve

Desirable Qualities:

Master embroidery machine and heat press settings for best quality outcome
Identify imperfections in heat transfers or embroidery files for quality improvements
Have a great eye for color and attention to detail
Learn to identify different heat transfer types and know the proper machine settings
