Arbors Personnel Initiative is Hiring a Building Maintenance Technician Near FRANKLIN, PA

Description

Building Maintenance TechnicianFranklin, PA$19.00 per hour

Arbors Management has an opening for a Building Maintenance Technician in Franklin, PA. This full-time position will involve working in plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, groundskeeping and custodial. If you enjoy performing a different task every day as well as working with people, then we encourage you to apply! 

This full-time, 40 hour per week position starts at $19.00 per hour. Arbors Management offers a full suite of benefits including: Medical, Dental & Vision; 401K Retirement plan; Short & Long Term Disability; Life Insurance; Paid Holidays; and Paid Time Off.

As the Building Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Performing physical and visible inspection of property grounds including outside areas, indoor commons areas and individual apartment units 
  • Communicating with tenants regarding needed repairs 
  • Performing needed repairs which will consist of the following:
    • Painting & Drywall repair
    • Grass cutting and snow removal
    • Assisting with unit turnovers
    • Basic electrical repair (switches, outlets, fixtures, etc.)
    • Basic plumbing repair (leaks, fixture changes, drain clogs, etc.)
    • General cleaning and groundskeeping
  • Completing work orders 
  • Handling emergency calls after hours as needed 

Qualifications: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent 
  • 1 years of maintenance related experience OR technical training in a related field
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, walk, stoop, crawl and/or climb for the duration of an 8-hour shift 
  • Able to work in an on-call rotation with other maintenance staff for after hours repairs
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Solid computer skills
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance 
  • Must have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings
