A family oriented medical practice is looking for a skilled and organized Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant. Certification preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills. We offer medical benefits, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, paid holidays, and much more. This is a fulltime position Monday-Friday 8-5.
Medical Assistant Duties and Responsibilitie
- Speak with patients and document basic medical history
- Prepare the patient to be seen by the physician.
- Answer phone calls, respond to patient questions, and take messages
- Schedule new and follow-up appointments
- Assist in procedures and examinations
- Take and record patient vitals
- Administer vaccinations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
