The Leasing Consultant plays a key role in the on-site office. This person answers phones, leases apartments, tours property with prospects. Advertise on social media, follow up with leads, puts out notices on doors occasionally, types and closes out work orders in the computer. Will provide excellent customer service to current residents, vendors and prospects.

Qualifications

• Must have computer knowledge
• Must be able to communicate with the staff and clients/residents
• Required to work Saturdays and evenings as necessary
• Must be able to tour the community, including climbing stairs on a regular basis
• High energy, people person only

• Understands and implements policies and procedures
• Implements lease renewal and resident retention programs
• Coordinates office team schedule
• Greets clients, vendors and residents in a professional manner
• Adheres to lease file policy with consistency
• Follows directions from manager and assistant manager in managers absence
