**Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct surveillance of premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. - Enforce laws and company policies to protect property and individuals. - Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. - Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances. - Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. **Requirements:** - Previous experience in law enforcement or military is preferred. - Must possess a valid armed security officer certificate. - Proficiency in conflict management techniques. - CPR and First Aid certification is a plus. - Familiarity with CCTV systems for surveillance purposes. - Knowledge of loss prevention strategies.
