Job Details

Hiring a fulltime Quality Engineer who will be responsible for the execution and optimization of quality management programs that assist internal staff, suppliers, customers and partners with initiatives that re-engineer processes and methods targeted at achieving company objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency and quality overseeing product/process quality for the entire Supply Chain, from supplier to customer.

Job Duties:

Oversee product and process quality across the entire Supply Chain, spanning from suppliers to customers, for multiple Product Lines. Lead thorough root cause analysis to prevent the recurrence of non-conformities in the following areas:

  • Enhance Supplier Quality: Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and suppliers to enhance supplier quality standards.

  • Optimize In-house Manufacturing: Provide support to manufacturing assembly and test cells to enhance product quality and reliability.

  • Customer Focus: Lead initiatives to minimize customer complaints, decrease customer Defective Parts Per Million (DPPM), and lower warranty costs by engaging engineering, operations, purchasing, and customer service.

Develop and ensure compliance with the ASME & PED Quality Control Program.

Foster continuous improvement across all aspects of the Quality System.

Compare business processes with industry benchmarks and implement best practices organization-wide.

Uphold compliance with our ISO Quality System to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Monitor and coordinate corrective actions for supplier complaints.

Participate in New Product Development initiatives.

Must have a a relevant engineering degree and manufacturing experience, worked with Microsoft office products, and have some knowledge of various quality system methodologies like Lean, 5 Why's, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, DFMEA, PFEMA, PPAP, APQP, etc.
