The main function of the Comp and Planning Project Manager is to plan, direct, and coordinate activities for People Operations on the Worldwide Operations Team in the Consumer Sales Organization (CSO).

Job Responsibilities:
•Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical and project-based activities.
•Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
•Analyze data, technology, resource needs and population definitions to plan and assess the feasibility of projects and provide recommendations.
•Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
•Review and recommend resourcing estimates.
•Direct, review and approve process and report designs and changes.
•Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications

Day to Day Activities:
Support for People Operations on the Worldwide Operations Team in CSO with the following:
•Compensation workstream - Seller set ups (fiscal year rollover, new hires, and transfers); manage compensation communications mailbox; and complete audits and analysis as required to support planning processes and in-year requests.
•Audit employee data actuals against CSO North Star and conduct analysis for planning and in-year requests identifying misalignment, gaps in coverage and provide recommendations for future data simplification and efficiency.
•Support implementation of headcount (HC) and analyzing alignment with the new operating model (monthly/quarterly)
•Possible data analytics support for CSO People Plan - Capacity workstream.
•Data integration and design workflows for employee data into new tools.
•Support Awards payout process.
•Continue post-launch PM for Role Excellence to ensure accuracy and alignment and publish the Role Excellence materials.

Key Outputs/Deliverables:
•Provide support for Compensation and Employee Data Taxonomy processes
•Audit employee data against North Star and other compensation analysis
•Provide support for HC landing, planning, exception reviews and other related analytics requests
•Support the Awards payment process
•Support the Rolex Plan and process

Skills:
•Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
•Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
•Strong ability to manage multiple projects and effectively communicate with business partners.
•Strong analytical skills to interpret and analyze data, formulate options, and provide recommendations to business partners and leaders to solve business issues.
•Strong knowledge of data management, process design, quality control, auditing, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effectiveness and efficient management of data used to drive business functions and processes.
•Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, data analysis, and resource allocation.
•Strong knowledge of products including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word etc.

Education/Experience:
•Minimum of Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
•10 years' experience required.

Typical Day in the Role:
•Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to focus on compensation and taxonomy for consumer business. Vendor role will support sponsor with taxonomy and compensation and support people operations. Support role excellence and support head count planning analysis.
•Key projects: This role will contribute to:
Deliverables: working on employee data taxonomy process for next fiscal year. Take a look at their entire thousand employees and makes sure their taxonomy matches what is needed for next fiscal year. Went through re-org in January. A lot of it is tied to compensation.
•Working on role excellence - take job descriptions, and work across 40-50 roles to get it lines up in the system. On a weekly-monthly basis re look at head count. Overlook an awards process. This person helps calculate people getting paid for awards.
•Help manage fiscal year data.
•Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 15% meetings or less, the rest heads down. Has check-ins every day with vendor to make sure everything is flowing..

Candidate Requirements
•Years of Experience Required: 10 overall years of experience in the field.
•Degrees or certifications required: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

The ideal resume would contain someone that has incentive compensation background. Consumer business is a huge plus. Any background in role excellence in employee data. Experience with the Consumer Business, Worldwide Incentive Compensation related to Consumer Products, Employee Data Taxonomy, Rolex, and Award Programs.
•Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines and quality of work.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required Years of Experience
•1. Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, proxy data, take data a part and dissect) (10 YOE)
•2. Incentive Compensation knowledge (mapping to plans, territories, etc.) (4 YOE)
•3. Communication (power point, analysis and communication of data, formulate options, explain) (5 YOE)
•Experience with the Consumer Business, Worldwide Incentive Compensation related to Consumer Products, Employee Data Taxonomy, Rolex, and Award Programs.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $72.59 to $80.66 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
