Role: Technical Product Manager

Location: Chicago

At Aquatic, we are actively recruiting for a Technical Product Managerin our Chicago office. In this role, you will work cross-functionally across our quantitative research and our technology teams to guide engineering products from conception to launch. 

Role Details

• Partner with quantitative researchers and engineers to develop machine learning products and services
• Establish a comprehensive and detail-oriented understanding of quantitative researcher needs
• Launch new products and features anchored in our ambitious research agenda, test their performance, and iterate quickly to both deliver research to production and build capabilities to enable new research projects
• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to define the roadmap and strategy around our core products and services
• Define key operational/success metrics and establish an efficient process to track progress and report regularly on these metrics
• Coordinate and deliver effective internal product communication and information delivery across the organization

Technical Experience: 

• 4 years of experience post-undergraduate degree; 2 years of experience in a Product Management role
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in a technical or quantitative discipline
• Experience with machine learning and serving production models
• Expertise in Python and/or C
• Comfortable with iterative software development; high standards for software quality and hygiene
• No experience required in finance and/or quantitative trading
