Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on position that requires knowledge of irrigation systems and the ability to work independently.

Duties:

- Install new irrigation systems, including digging trenches, laying pipes, and connecting sprinkler heads

- Perform regular maintenance on existing irrigation systems, including checking for leaks, adjusting sprinkler heads, and cleaning filters

- Troubleshoot and repair issues with irrigation systems, such as broken pipes or malfunctioning valves

- Program and adjust irrigation controllers to ensure proper watering schedules

- Collaborate with landscapers and gardeners to ensure proper irrigation coverage for plants and lawns

- Monitor water usage and make recommendations for water conservation efforts

- Maintain inventory of irrigation supplies and equipment

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on job sites

Experience:

- Previous experience in irrigation installation, maintenance, and repair

- Knowledge of irrigation system components, including pipes, valves, sprinkler heads, and controllers

- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in irrigation work

- Understanding of landscape maintenance practices and lawn care techniques

- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair irrigation system issues

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
