Bookkeeper (temp to perm) with a construction company.
Summary The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the accounts of various construction projects by creating detailed budgets, overseeing supplier contracts, evaluating production costs, and verifying invoice statements. Additionally, you will be overseeing audit and tax-related activities for the company. The contract will begin immediately and is expected to last at least 3 - 6 months with the possibility to convert to a permanent position. Interested candidates may apply with the below information:

Responsibilities
Prepare, record, analyze, and report accounting and trade transactions for separate accounts.
Create and manage financial statements and dashboards.
Ensure all tax returns are filed and paid timely.
Coordinate the annual reviews with the CPA.
Advise best practices and optimizations throughout accounting processes.
Collaborate with finance personnel to develop approaches for creating more-accurate financial records and models for the company.
Manage all insurance, workers comp, general liability, builders’ risk, and sales tax audits on behalf of the company.
Report any financial risks and budgetary discrepancies to management for review.
Responsible for quality assurance financial reports, and filings for errors.
Create visualizations that convey accurate financial views of the project.
Perform data entry as required.
Produce and file annual 1099’s.
Bank account reconciliations.
Ensure all vendors are paid.
Produce all reports required by management.
Comply with all company, local, state, and federal accounting, and financial regulations.
Responsible for ensuring the payroll service.
Requirements
Minimum of 6 years plus experience in accounting, and Microsoft Office 365 including, bookkeeping, and financial modeling.
Other Requirements
Proficiency in accounting software and bookkeeping programs such as SAGE Intacct.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
