Aquatics Manager Job Description:

• Uphold core values

• Implement and maintain Aqua-Tots teaching curriculum
• Onboard and train new aquatic team members
• Supervise swim instructors
• Uphold quality and consistency of Aqua-Tots swim lessons
• Attend and lead monthly all staff meetings
• Set and achieve goals with the General Manager
• Lead and manage the swim instruction staff and Water Safety Program
• Aquatic scheduling
• Conduct aquatic training and performance evaluations
• Oversee aquatic customer service needs
• Coordinate and manage pool operations - implementing local Public Health Department standards/guidelines

With more than 150 locations in 14 countries, our trusted program is dedicated to children of all abilities from 4 months to 12 years old and features a proven curriculum used to teach more than five million swim lessons each year.

Aquatics Manager Qualifications:

Required:

• Flexible schedule – candidates must have availability to work weekdays and weekends
• 1-2 years of business management experience
• Maintain a CURRENT AT-WSI Certification within Aqua-Tots Swim Schools (following employment)
• Have intermediate level computer skills using Word, Excel, and other software systems
• Must pass a background check

Preferred:

• Relates well to children, parents, team members, and have superior communication skills
• Previous swim instruction, lifeguard, aquatics, or swim coach experience
• Experience working with children (sports coach, camp counselor, teacher, educator, or similar experience)
• Maintain a current National Lifeguard Service (NLS) certification and Standard First Aid with CPR-C, AED (following employment)
