Repossession Coordinator

In compliance with company policies and procedures, responsible for submitting and monitoring repossessions through our 3rd party vendor site.

Essential Functions

• Work with management to recommend accounts for repossession that follow company guidelines
• Enter approved repossessions into our vendor website
• Monitor each account online and enter in updates into the notes of
• Aqua Finance companies
• Approve recommended floor prices for collateral for auction
• Ability to negotiate and approve payment plans with customers that
• have been submitted for repossession
• Request titles and or UCC’s and/or all appropriate documentation
• Ability to track all repos and results in excel spreadsheet
• Send out Deficiency balance letters on accounts that the collateral
• was sold at auction
• Assist in all Account Servicing Admin duties as needed
• Ability to approve up to $500.00 in extra repo fees with vendor
• Ability to approve payment plans with AR’s or customers to stop the repo process
• Accept payments via telephone by phone check or credit card.
• Recommend settlements on accounts

Required Education and Experience

• 1 years of collection or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and employees both written and verbally.
• Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
• Ability to use a computer, fax or telephone application to manage large amounts of information, including creating and editing simple databases, systems, and software by inputting data, retrieving specific documents, and creating reports to communicate information.
• Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts.
• Ability to identify problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Ability to apply training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new job duties
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, visualize, talk, hear, and handle or touch objects or controls. The employee may occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.
• This position is an office-based position where you must be able to sit for long periods of time. The employee will be working on a computer 90% of the time.
