Skin Cancer Specialists is a premier dermatology practice serving patients in metro Atlanta, north and south Georgia, eastern Alabama, and southern Tennessee. We offer comprehensive treatments for skin cancer, general dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and aesthetic services.

Our team has an immediate need for a Histology transcriptionist looking for a career in Dermatology. The ideal candidate is positive, energetic, intelligent, highly dependable, organized, and able to multi-task. Our team members provide support with filing, telephone coverage, appointment scheduling, registration, and patient referrals by performing the following duties:

QUALIFICATIONS

Education - This position requires completion of at least a High School Degree or equivalent, with added coursework in Medical Terminology or Certification in Medical Transcription

Experience – 2 years of related work experience; medical transcription preferred

Communication – Excellent oral and written communication skills

Work Style - Must be able to work well independently but ask for help when needed. Ability to analyze and interpret information, ability to interact and decipher information telephonically and electronically.
