Senior Systems Engineer. Troy, MI. Design, develop, and validate new automotive advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) products and technologies. Ensure that System Common Process deliverables are completed on time per project schedule and meet System Quality Assurance standards. Drive and achieve ASPICE Level 3 initiatives. Participate in requirement/design peer reviews for projects. Ensure transformation of customer/product requirements into a total systems solution that meets scheduling, technical, and cost constraints. Perform technical planning, requirement analysis and management, systems architecture and design, and systems integration and verification. Convert customer requirements into product requirements and design specifications. Lead/perform technical design analysis, tradeoff studies, FMEAs, design reviews, and customer presentations. Act as focal point of project technical discussions with cross-competent teams, management, and customers. Capture, clarify, and prioritize critical/ambiguous tasks and create action plans. Drive process, procedure, and methodology improvements. Requires Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Electronics Engineering and two years of experience with defining vehicle-level functional specifications, designing and developing electrical components, developing component-level specifications, managing component Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA), component calibration and testing, and supporting Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
