• Develop, plan, implement, and evaluate Residential Services and Adult Family Home programs and ensure that all needs are being met.
• Increase and grow the number of people Aptiv serves through exceptional services that meet health, safety, and independence needs of participants.
• Support participants in meeting goals, collaborate to complete residentials assessments, and assist with personal care needs as necessary.
• Facilitate the ongoing development of outcome based programming.
• Provide leadership to residential staff that fosters professional development and strengthens the capacity to serve.
• Interview potential candidates for employment, plan staff development, schedule and facilitate training for new staff and current employees, facilitate team meetings, provide strong communication to team and ongoing support, and other tasks.
• Provide direct support to participants. Duties include regularly scheduled direct support and unplanned direct service when coverage is necessary to ensure adequate staffing ratios and quality, safe programming. Rotation of On-call for CSL or AFH required.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain high performance standards which include following procedures and policies, attending and hosting meetings, maintaining job knowledge, availability for after-hours communication, providing quality customer service, managing time, and having high ethical standards.
• Advocate, educate, and support individuals to promote their interest, needs, and rights.
• Assure compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, Aptiv policies and procedures, and state and national standards and ensure compliance with all licensing requirements.

• Associate’s Degree or other post high school graduation coursework and three years of experience in a human service field
• Experience working with adults with disabilities
• At least one-year experience with multiple program/facility management
• Previous Adult Family Home or licensed facility supervision experience
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Proven ability to provide leadership
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work flexible schedule
• Ability to operate computer equipment; knowledge of various software packages
• Access to reliable non-public transportation with required insurance coverage and ability to transport participants when needed.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, Social Work or related field.
• Knowledge of proactive behavioral approaches
• Mental Health training
• Experience in growing service revenue in a human service setting
• Experience negotiating rates with multiple funders
• Knowledge of Family Care, IRIS funding and waiver funding
