We are currently seeking a Health and Benefits Administration Professional to join our Operations Support Services team at Aptia. This role will collaborate with clients on projects related to many different areas of health and benefits administration. 

As a Health and Benefits Administration Professional within the Operations Support Services team, you will be an extension of a client’s staff to assist with day-to-day tasks and projects. Our professionals use their analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills along with their experience in health and benefits administration to provide support to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Answer questions and resolve issues for employees related to benefits administration.
  • Manage shared email box and respond to inquiries or cases.
  • Run, analyze, and monitor reports.
  • Collaborate with client to stand up new benefits offerings for employees.
  • Manage eligibility, event processing, claims, and escalations for employees.
  • Support files, including analyze data and resolve discrepancies of eligibility files.
  • Billing and premium report support.
  • Audit files.
  • Annual enrollment and year-round support of the benefits administration system.
  • Track all work and communication progress with client.
  • Project manage milestones while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Create, update, and review training materials.
  • Write or update documentation, process flows, and templates for communications.
  • Identify and assist with implementation of process improvements.
  • Other duties to support internal teams and clients as the team grows.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in the benefits administration industry, at least 5 years.
  • Strong analytical, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal team members.
  • Ability to identify and communicate downstream impacts and think creatively when solving problems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including functions), Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and efficiency building tools. SnapLogic experience a plus.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
