**Agile Delivery Manager / Scrum Master**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are seeking an exceptional **Agile Delivery Manager / Scrum Master** to help our teams deliver amazing product capabilities. You'll support with delivering features like building the clinical notes assistant capabilities and creating an intelligent and personalised health assessment framework. Our teams also create platform features like developing capabilities allowing sharing of health data between various Babylon services and integration of Babylon products with other partner systems.

You will manage delivery across multiple development teams within our Engineering organisation. You will also be responsible for managing complex cross team projects and (where required) set up mechanisms to identify and resolve dependencies. You will use your servant leader skills to help teams and individuals collaborate and communicate in effective and sustainable ways. Implement best practices to support delivery (for multiple teams)

Facilitate workshops and ceremonies such as standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning and retrospectives

Be a champion and adopter of the secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) and clinical safety processes to ensure we meet compliance standards. Embedding the standards into the team's way of working

Actively address internal and external risks, issues and dependencies including where ownership exists outside the team

Work with the teams or external stakeholders to remove emergent blockers

Assist the teams in defining and achieving their goals

Assist the teams in early and continuous delivery of valuable software

Set up a development approach in collaboration with the team

Encourage, inspire and support teams to continuously improve their ways of working by identifying and tracking metrics during different phases of the software delivery cycle

Recommend better ways of working, quality improvement and eliminate bottlenecks during this process

Guide the teams towards self-organisation

Create transparency by using the relevant tools and approach.

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**

Strong experience of planning, estimating and forecasting

Working with engineering and product teams to deliver on tech and product goals

Knowledge and experience with setting up team frameworks and methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban and Lean

Understands important concepts like technical debt, test left and differing approaches to agile data driven methodologies (TDD, BDD, DDD)

Understands CI/CD and how it applies to the agile framework

Ability to shield the team from disturbance and external distraction

Understanding the value of facilitation and ability to apply techniques as appropriate

Fosters more frequent collaboration and open dialogue within teams and stakeholders/customers

Encourage independent problem solving

Facilitates team to solve technical problems and challenges them to avoid gold plating or overdesign

Help identify metrics of success for initiatives to visualise the impact achieved and provide input to improvement initiatives

Experience of highly regulated environments and/or healthcare.
