Estimator – AstroTurf Corporation

How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:

Reporting to the Regional General Manager, the Estimator position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and competitiveness of our project bids. .

How you will do it:

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine the scope of work and materials required for each project.
• Collaborating closely with sales, design and production teams to gather essential information for accurate cost estimation.
• Utilizing industry-standard software and tools to create detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead expenses.
• Identifying potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Generating comprehensive bid proposals and presenting bid packages to clients in a clear and professional manner.
• Reviewing and revising estimates as necessary based on client feedback and project changes.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing, and market conditions to ensure competitive bidding.

What success looks like:

• Years of Related Professional Experience: 10 years of experience in related field.
• Excellent communication skills - proven ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, presentation skills, build and nurture cross functional relationships.
• Think critically - questions, challenges, looks for other ways to accomplish goals.
• The ideal candidate would also have a deep love for sports and a passion for competition.
• Equal ability to fit into a team or to work alone while exuding a positive attitude.

Skills for Success

• 10 Years of Related Professional Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; HS Diploma/GED required.
• Courses/Certifications/Training: Certified Field Builder license
• Superior written and verbal communication skills

Details: Salary negotiable

Bonus Plan Travel: 10% Location: Pittsburgh PA

Annual Incentive Eligibility :

This position is eligible to participate in AstroTurf Corporation’s Annual Incentive Plan. Incentive Plan awards are contingent upon (1) achievement of your individual objectives and (2) AstroTurf Corporation achieving its' corporate and business level financial objectives.
