6-10 years Relevant Experience in the context of operational data center environments In-depth Network design and implementation knowledge – Linux, Windows Operating Systems, VMWare, Network Storage, Databases, Network Software Applications, automated kickstart installations, command-line administration including some bash/shell scripting, Microsoft WSUS/SCRM Update processes
Understanding of Linux software/tools – i.e. tcpdump, syslog, Apache Tomcat, HA/DRBD, PAM
Understanding of SNMP and Network Monitoring Solutions
Knowledge of DoD SRS/STIGs, general knowledge of Cellular Telephones/PDAs and GSM/CDMA networks.
Possesses or ability to obtain a SECRET or above Clearance
Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot issues with software and networking/server hardware at customer sites. Act as an escalation path for Technical Support on field support requirements and issues
Interact with Product Test to ensure products delivered within projected schedules.
