| Duties/Responsibilities | |
| 1 | Coordinate and schedule internal and external instrument and equipment calibration and PM activities. |
| 2 | Document completion of calibration and equipment PM activities within the CMMS, including data review and PM or work order (WO) document filing |
| 3 | Initiate work orders for repairs and /or adjustments to the facility and/or equipment for work completed by OEM or third party vendor and complete all required documentation needed to maintain the GXP requirements associated with work order completion |
| 4 | Write and facilitate review and approval of maintenance task lists (TLs), standard operating procedures (SOP) and calibration reports (CR) |
| 5 | Create parts and materials requisitions using quotes from vendors to source spare parts and materials |
| 6 | Create asset record request forms and calibration record request forms for new assets and route for approval |
| 7 | Serve as CMMS System administrator by creating new user accounts, completing administrative updates within the CMMS, and entering asset information |
| 8 | File and maintain physical storage of OE cGMP documents, non-GMP documents, PMs, WOs, and calibration reports |
| 9 | Prepare all assets for shipment for external calibration. Receive same upon return, and review corresponding calibration certificates |
Reporting to this Position:No direct reportsTravel:No travel required.Work Shift:Responsibilities for this role will be on first shiftKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated expertise in basic carpentry/construction skills
- Demonstrated expertise with troubleshooting and repair of facility, utility, and high-speed production equipment
- Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), and mechanical systems
- Must read and comprehend mechanical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Computerized BAS and computerized CMMS experience is preferred
- Must be able to work well in a team environment and independently on tasks and projects
- Excellent organizational skills and able to provide quality customer service
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Relevant licenses, certifications, or coursework related to training/experience from college or technical school preferred
- Qualified candidate should have 5-7 years of direct experience in production, metrology, and facilities maintenance
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment is required
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to bend, lift, carry, and manipulate materials and machine parts (1-80 lbs) to accomplish equipment repairs, installations, and maintenance. Exposure to odd body positions (i.e. twisted torso, bent over position, etc) for brief periods of time during the troubleshooting and/or repair of the equipment
- Exposure to elements (i.e. hot weather, cold weather, precipitation) for brief periods of time
- Operate computer-controlled equipment which requires a combination of standing, sitting and walking to and from the operator interface terminal
- Required to work around live electrical circuits and mechanical devices in the execution of their duties
- Exposure to odd body positions (i.e. twisted torso, bent over position, etc.) for brief periods of time during the troubleshooting and/or repair of the equipment
- Ability to wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) as required for exposure to pharmaceutical operations (e.g. respirators, over-gowning, gloves, steel toe shoes)
