Job Description

Position: Commercial Lines Account Manager

Location: Hillsborough, NH (Hybrid - 2x remote/3x onsite)

Compensation: $58,000 - $70,000

Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships and ensuring the smooth operation of commercial insurance accounts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of insurance products and regulations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all insurance-related inquiries and issues
  • Handle the end-to-end management of commercial insurance policies, including renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
  • Assess client needs and risks to recommend appropriate insurance coverage options
  • Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and pricing on behalf of clients
  • Assist clients in filing insurance claims and provide support throughout the claims process
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, policy changes, and other relevant information in the agency management system
  • Identify opportunities to expand client coverage and offer additional insurance products and services
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and providing expert insurance advice

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial insurance account management or related role.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting principles
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Insurance industry certifications (e.g., CIC, CRM) preferred but not required
