Position Summary:

Weigher/forklift : is responsible to weigh Ingredients and measure . moving product as instructed with forklift, As well as make sure job station is clean.

Essential Functions:

-obtain daily raw sheets from lead person. Insure ingredients are available

-prepare and label bags and containers

-inspect calibrate weighting scale to insure accuracy.

-weight each ingredient based on raw material sheets and place in box.

-Perform general labor tasks as assigned by supervisor
- operate forklift assignment's

-Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment
- forklift knowledge (sit down)
- Ability to assemble and fabricate products according to specifications
- Proficient in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment

-all other duties assigned.

-Follows all safety rules and regulations including guarding work areas and equipment, maintaining awareness of hazards within the work area, and performing appropriate protective measures when required by law.

Need weigher experience!

Qualifications:

weigher experience preferred.

FORKLIFT LICENSE REQUIERED!

-high school diploma or equivalent

-Ability to read and understand instructions correctly. Ability to follow them while following standard procedures. Ability to handle many different types of assignments while paying attention to detail.

-Ability to follow standard procedures while handling hazardous waste or unknown quantities.

.Previous Experience in food manufacturing industry.

-Sit down forklift experience

-knowledge: basic mathematics -addition, subtraction must be able to use a calculator

-weigh or measure materials, ingredients or products to ensure conformance to requirements.

Must have past experience in the food environment!!!

This Job is a long term position In the City of Irwindale.

2nd SHIFT!!

START TIME BETWEEN 3:00pm -11:30pm Monday -Friday
