DESCRIPTION
Investigates and resolves software, hardware, cabling and telecommunication problems by performing the following duties:
Program telephone features & allocate resources as necessary
Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming telephone, voice mail and helpdesk requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, and other telecommunication technologies.
Handles problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up for routine user problems, referring more complex problems to technical staff.
Install, monitor, test and troubleshoot cabling, systems and peripheral equipment
Evaluate systems performance & improve capabilities as needed using discretion and independent judgement
Cooperate with management to develop staff and improve their skills
Follow industry’s standards and best practices
Participate in after hours on-call rotation
Other duties as assigned
Maintain confidentiality at all time in accordance with Protected Health Information (PHI)
