Job Description:

The pay for this position is between $25/hour - $35/hour, based on experience

Position Summary:
Due to continued growth and vertical integration, we have an opportunity for a highly skilled tool maker, mold maker or precision machinist. You will be challenged daily to produce liquid silicone and plastic injection tooling as well as repairs and PM of existing silicone and plastic injection molds. You will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering Dept. to produce automation equipment for our production floor. You will also work with our Product Design Engineers to machine prototype parts and tooling.

Duties and Responsibilities: This list is not comprehensive but meant to represent the most common or important duties of the position. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Set-up, program, and operate 3 & 5-axis CNC mills, WEDM, Surface Grinder as well as manual tool room lathes, mills & grinders to produce tight tolerance liquid silicone injection molds, plastic injection molds & custom tooling/fixtures for manufacturing.
  • Laser welding and laser engraving knowledge.
  • CAM program up to 5-axis machining using CAM-TOOL and Fusion360 (other cam software experience considered.)
  • Assist co-workers with set-up, or machine operations as needed.
  • Stay up to date on current machine tool technologies.
  • Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Monitor machine tool during processing to ensure it is functioning properly.
  • Follow print specifications and set up sheet.
  • Ability to work directly with 3D models.
  • Multi-tasking with multiple machines, programming, and hands-on skills. 
  • Follow all ISO quality processes, procedures, and standards for job tasks.
  • Must keep work area clean and machines clean and orderly.
