Applied Value Technologies is Hiring a Triage Specialist - People Experience (On-Site - US) Near Fremont, CA

Location: United States Client Office (On-Site) - East Coast Candidates Preferred

Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 base salary 10% performance bonus

THIS POSITON REQUIRES YOU TO BE IN OFFICE Monday - Friday.

PST work hours strictly: California: (Fremont, Menlo Park), Washington (Seattle), New York (NYC), Michigan (Detroit)

About the Role:

Applied Value Technologies is seeking a Triage Specialist to assist in the delivery of our mission- and business-critical application services with internal customers. Reporting into the People Experience, our goal is to deliver excellent technical support with outstanding customer service, satisfaction, and timeliness. About You:

We are looking for someone to:

Monitor ticket queues, triage and resolve intake requests and identify incidents
  • Create tickets and tasks, when applicable, based on user request
  • Gather data and provide initial response for reported issues, service requests and alerts
  • Escalate to Tier 1-2 and/or product expert when necessary
  • Communicate effectively with IT and business stakeholders to improve on the ground engagement with cross-functional partners
  • Provide efficient support on product and integration issues that do not require code changes
  • Rapidly diagnose, investigate, and resolve known issues
  • Refine issue resolutions into clear and concise documentation for runbooks
  • Serve as an expert across platforms and products and teach other Triage Specialists on new products, tools, processes, debug technique, to improve the team's overall effectiveness, efficiency and workflows

Some stuff you need:

  • 1 - 2 years in Recruiting and Human Resource management with a keen interest in IT and technology
    • 2-3 years of experience in Salesforce Service Cloud, including administration, customization, configuration, and maintenance.
    • Basic understanding of Salesforce platform, including data model, workflows, and security model.
    • 1 - 2 years in a hands-on application production support role working on triage, troubleshooting, and coordination
    • Flexible to work on-call schedule on weekdays and occasionally on weekends
    • Familiarity with Apex programming language, Visualforce, and Salesforce Lightning framework.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain Salesforce instances to support Service cloud issues.
    • Manage user roles, profiles, permission sets, and security settings.
    • Experience operating with SLAs in a client-facing role in a production environment
    • Ability to work in an onsite office setting 100% of the time

Nice to have:

  • 4-5 years of experience in Salesforce Service Cloud, including administration, customization, configuration, and maintenance.
  • 3-5 years in Recruiting and Human Resource Management
  • 3 years of HRIS experience
  • 3 year on application production support role working on triage, troubleshooting, and coordination
  • Intermediate SQL skillset
  • Familiar with Workday HCM, Salesforce Service Cloud is a plus.
  • Experience with reporting and metrics
  • Strong expertise with rules-based automation, process documentation, and ITSM best practices (ITIL)
