Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Software Engineer (Golang, ETL) to join our Data Lake team. This role involves developing and maintaining robust data pipelines and contributing to our extensive data infrastructure. As an ETL Software Engineer, you will collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, and Scrum team members to deliver high-quality technical solutions. You'll play a pivotal role in transforming and orchestrating massive data sets, creating impactful solutions that drive innovation and efficiency for our clients' businesses.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

We’re looking for someone who: 

• Has the ability to work from an Applied Systems office or 100% remotely

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

• 3 - 5 years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, SQL, and experience with GCP data and ETL stack tools (Debezium, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, BigQuery) or equivalent technologies of experience in ETL development and data engineering
• Experience in implementing RESTful services and APIs.
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks, ideally Scrum, and tools like Jira and Confluence
• Ability to communicate in a team-oriented environment to clarify requirements and deliver solutions within committed timelines.
• Proven technical abilities, troubleshooting skills, and research abilities.
• Bachelor-level degree in Computer Science, MIS, or CIS, or equivalent experience
