JOB SUMMARY: 

AM LLC is looking for a Migrated Data Test Lead candidate to support our Veterans Affairs client. 

The Migrated Data Test Lead will architect the test plan for data migrated from a client mainframe application into a modern microservices architecture. 

Strong preference is for those candidates with Performance Tester experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs or another federal agency.

 In addition, this role will require 1 week per month onsite in the Arlington, VA office, so it is required that all candidates currently live within a 60-mile radius of this location. Over time, this role will eventually be onsite only, but that timeframe has not yet been determined.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The Migrated Data Test Lead will deliver innovative solutions that help our federal clients improve the services they provide to the American public. Duties will include, but not be limited to: 

• Understanding mapping requirements for the new system to legacy data
• Designing tests to confirm data integrity
• Ensuring the continued transacting against migrated data·

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS. AND ABILITIES:

• Drive consistent quality solution development and delivery
• Experience with a wide variety of Migrated Data Test Data tools and concepts
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to think critically and analytically
• Ability to quickly and efficiently solve problems

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• US citizenship or Green Card holder required to obtain a federal security clearance to support this Veterans Affairs program.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required. is required. 
• Minimum of 5 years of overall experience and a minimum of 2 years as a Migrated Data Test Lead
• 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.

STRONGLY PREFERRED:

An active PIV card from the Department of Veterans Affairs

Experience working as a Migrated Data Test Lead supporting federal clients

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a quiet, dedicated workspace for Home Office work. 
• User-provided home high-speed network connection

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance.
• This position requires the use of a computer screen for extensive periods of time.
• This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) most of the time.

• Answering phone/making calls
• Participating in meetings and client-facing meetings in person or on camera

The salary range for this role is $119,000 – $125,000. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, business need, and location.
