JOB SUMMARYAs a Test Technician in Fargo, North Dakota, you may be tasked with: diagnosing mechanical failures and conducting repairs/installations on prototype and current production equipment; using hand tools, power tools, and other instruments; collaborating with design and test engineers on prototype vehicles to evaluate and provide recommendations; referencing engineering prints, models, specifications, and work order instructions; testing equipment after reassembly to ensure proper functionally; operating heavy equipment such as tractors, wheel loaders, and forklifts, and working collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates or Technical Degree preferred
- Technical knowledge of automotive, construction, or agricultural machinery
- Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Ability to use overhead cranes moving large substructures and components
- Ability to read and interpret technical engineering documents and drawings
