Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced P3 Certified Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, particularly with children aged three to five years old. As a P3 Certified Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a supportive and stimulating learning environment where children can thrive and develop essential skills for future success.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities for preschool-aged children in accordance with New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS).
• Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Manage classroom operations, including providing supervision, guidance, coaching and evaluation of Teacher’s Assistants and volunteers.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and appropriate service providers, facilitating ongoing communication and collaboration to support children's learning and development.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate regularly with families.
• Provide individualized attention and support to meet the unique needs of each child.
• Assures a healthy, clean and developmentally appropriate environment for the children. Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Attend off-site meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Must have a P3 certification or equivalent preschool qualification, as set forth at N.J.A.C. 6A:9B.
• 1 years experience working with young children in a classroom setting.
• Working knowledge and understanding of Creative Curriculum, preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
