Superintendent

Appleseed Building Company is seeking a Project Superintendent for projects in Richland and surrounding counties. The responsibilities will include:

• Read and interpret drawing and specifications.
• Schedule of subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Direct subcontractors and Appleseed employee's as required to meet the construction schedule.
• Assist in the preparation of field change orders.
• Schedule and inspections with various government agencies.
• Maintain job safety systems and maintain employee’s personal safety equipment.
• Meet with clients, contractors and design professional to discuss work procedures, construction problems and complaints and to institute a correction procedure.
• Other tasks as may be required.
• Generally work occurs Monday through Friday only, rare weekend work.

Basic Requirements

• Minimum of five years supervising commercial and residential projects up to $3M in value.
• The ability to superintend more than one project at a time.
• The ability to perform rough and finish carpentry as needed (install doors and hardware, wood trims, toilet partitions, casework, etc.)
• Valid driver license with a clean driving record
• Good interpersonal skills

Salary position starting at 30/hour

Paid person time off and holiday pay after 90 days

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
