Key Qualifications
- Understanding of TCP/IP suite of protocols
- Deep knowledge of 802.11 MAC/PHY protocol with relevant industry experience
- Python scripting experience is a plus
- Tools experience - iPerf, Ixia, Wireshark
- Debug and analysis of issues by examining different layers of the protocol stack
- Understand impact of interference on WiFi and BT performance
Description
Responsible for performance benchmarking, characterization of new connectivity features and improving WiFi system performance on Apple platforms.Measure & analyze both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth system performance for various coexistence driven scenarios.Ability to build lab setups that simulate different system conditions.Ability to work on scripts and tools that aid in analysis.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience requiredMasters or Ph.D degree is preferred

Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
