We are looking for a Sports Operations Project Manager who will be the first point of contact, liaison, and leader for sports projects for teams within our AMP Video Operations organization. In this role, you will be responsible for leading large scale and complex projects with highly specialized teams at Apple. You will play an integral part of bringing teams together, communicating and adjusting the project plan throughout the project life cycle, successfully launching projects you will be proud of, and helping to seamlessly transition to operational support after launch.Bring your experience and passion for sports to Apple. Description
As a Sports Operations Project Manager, you will:- Gather and communicate project requirements and scope for each team within our AMP Video Operations organization who will be involved with the project.- Construct, execute, and monitor the work breakdown schedule across our AMP Video Operations organization. Adjust the work breakdown schedule along the way while also looking ahead to identify and mitigate risks.- Consistently report on project updates to all levels of the organization and to other relevant teams.- Build relationships with and collaborate closely with key teams within and outside of our AMP Video Operations organization on project tasks, progress, timelines, and updates.- Identify new tooling and process enhancements required for projects. Recognize and act on opportunities for automation.- Acquire a deep understanding of our data pipeline, from integration to consumption, as well as our data management tools.
Education & Experience
College education preferred, 4 years of project management experience and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred), and experience in the digital media or technology or sports industry.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $110,700 and $212,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
