Key Qualifications
- 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- Fluency in Java
- REST API Development
- Experience developing Message driven systems using Kafka
- Experience working with backend storage system like relational databases
- Experience working with caching layer using MemCache or Redis or other NoSQL data stores
- Worked in a professional software development environment using source control systems like Git or equivalent
- Experience with Web UI development frameworks like React, Angular
Description
APPLE INC has the following available in San Diego, California. Design and Develop backend software for Apple TV services. Design and develop software for processing and indexing of Apple data objects. Design, implement and document APIs for consumption of other Apple teams. Research, integrate and test new technologies to Apple's systems. Design and tune systems to operate at scale-supporting millions of users. Expand data models to incorporate new facets as business needs evolve. Refine and refactor existing code modules for correctness, clarity and evolving coding standards where necessary. Support large-scale data store and index technologies, including possible migrations to new data store/ index technologies. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500 - $198,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Education & Experience
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
