APPLE ROOFING is Hiring a Field Supervisor Near Omaha, NE
The Field Supervisor will be able to work independently, under the direction of their supervisor. The candidate must be able to multi-task as he/she may be overseeing multiple jobs per day. The candidate should have a working knowledge of general construction practices, more specifically residential and commercial roofing. Communication skills will be a key factor. The candidate should also have adequate computer skills. The candidate will be able to present him/herself in a respectful manner to customers, subcontracted crews, and co-workers.
Responsibilities
- Perform supervisory functions and also engage in the same roofing trade work as the workers supervised
- Provide timely and quality installation of all assigned roofing projects in the field
- Check in with homeowners about work completion
- Take before and after photos of projects using Company Cam
- Check material and counts
- Oversee final quality of work
- Pick up and return leftover material after work is completed
- Final clean up of projects
- Oversee construction project and work sites
- Ensure all staff have basic understanding of safety procedures, safety rules, and safety requirements
- Conduct regular field visits to supervise workers
- Resolve customer complaints using effective communication skills
- Construction experience preferred
- Basic computer knowledge
- Basic knowledge of OSHA compliance
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs
- Open to travel to Iowa region when needed
