Apple Ridge is a small, 60 bed long term care facility tucked away in Waverly, Mo. We are just steps away from the Port of Waverly on the Missouri River. We provide care to the residents of this small town and we take pride in the fact that our residents are properly cared for. Apple Ridge is currently seeking qualified Med-Techs to join our family of caregivers

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse

-Dispense medication to residents as prescribed
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Document patient information and medical history accurately and timely
- Assist in patient assessment and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a nursing assistant training program
- Current certification as a nursing assistant (CNA)

-Completion of CMT course
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
