Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Reports To: Pharmacist in Charge

Summary: Self-motivated, efficient, responsible multi-tasker to join our team. Candidate will communicate with patients to effectively provide medications, pull and package prescriptions, bill and charge credit cards and update patient information in the system.

Salary: $15.00 ;Compensation commensurate with experience*. Full Medical/Health Benefits are offered for all Full Time Employees.

Education/Experience:

High School Graduate (or equivalent) is required. Pharmacy Technician for at least 1-year is preferred.

Previous experience in pharmacy or other related Healthcare fields.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Label and prepare products for patients.

2. Process prescriptions using computer software.

3. Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies.

4. Answer and make daily calls to coordinate patient deliveries.

5. Keep the pharmacy clean and organized.

6. Complete insurance verification.

7. Apply manufacturers coupons if applicable.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
