Concession/Mini Golf Associate

Apostle Islands Area Campground is Looking for a Concession/Mini Golf Associate to Join our Team!

This is a part-time position (20 hours per week). Successful candidates must be available for day shifts, evening shifts and weekends.

Shifts range from 10:00 am- 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm- 8:00 pm (may vary)

Must be available to work from end of May- October 7th

Summary

Responsible for the daily duties of the concession stand including but not limited to: food prep, customer service, cash handling, inventory control, merchandise and supply restocking and facility upkeep. Will primarily be indoors while performing job duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Food prep and service in accordance with the Health Dept. regulations and guidelines.
• Correctly operating all foodservice equipment
• Proper food handling procedures
• Cash handling
• Accurate count of startup and ending monies.
• Accurate change counting.
• Accurate sales transactions.
• Communicate with other staff and customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Inventory control
• Complete weekly inventory sheets.
• Daily restocking of merchandise.
• Policy and Procedures
• Communicate policies and procedures with customers when needed.
• Facility Upkeep
• Daily and continuous cleaning of concession stands, restrooms, common areas, and equipment.
• Daily trash removal from concession stands and other common areas.
• Any other related duty as assigned.

Qualifications

Responsible, courteous, good communication skills, accurate cash handling skills, good math skills, good work ethic, ability to lift 20-30 pounds and ability to work without close supervision. Must possess a positive attitude and a sense of pride and accomplishment with one’s work.
